Hi, I am a retired teacher and have tutored math 436 in the past. Is there any possibility that there are summer courses in the high schools for students who have not passed the course? If a student has not passed a course they must be able to take it in the summer so that they can graduate, so they must offer some of these courses in the summer months....Try to see someone in the high schools and see if you'd be able to take the courses you want. There is also Adult Education ( I believe in Pointe Claire on cartier ave.) They may offer certain courses as well. Please let me know if you have any luck! GOOD LUCK and good for you tohave found what you want to do! Ciao for now, Linda

hi Kay

Grade 10 provincial math can be found on miLearn at the link below. (it is a "436 i you are in Quebec)

either way it is pretty standard Gr 10 Algebra. What we have developed (with our Math consultant) is a step by step approach to the problems in chapter (reflection) format. Look at each concept- followed by an example (again it shows the steps you need to do along the way- and some are long but necessary!), and then at the end of each section there are practice examples that you can work on (just click for the answers). We have also included a glossary of math terms and- really important and cool- provincial exams (taken exactly from past provincial exams). If you take the time- go through (over & over) our pages, we are sure you will see an improvement in your grades. It is one of the hardest subjects in HS which is why we have designed this for HS students.. here is the link..

for other exams-info just click on the math link on our home page milearn.com

pass us along to anyone you know that could also use the help (and has a lousy teacher:)

good luck- keep in touch- let us know..
cheers

I usually do very well in math. But this year I got stuck with a teacher, who is horrible! Our whole class is failing. I was managing to get 50% all year. But suddenly 2 weeks before our provicial ive dropped to 44% what is the lowest possible mark you can get in math 10 take the 20% final, get 0 on the final and still pass. And any online pages I can use to help me prepare, so I won't fail? Ive never failed anything before, and I dont have the time to do summer school.
