Notice the bold, capitals? We have been receiving alot of requests for help in Algebra, Grade 10 math.

If you haven’t found the miLearn.com resources in the past- or just stumbled on us through Google, here is a great online tutorial we have developed along with our math consultants that will absolutely help you out – and pass your exams. We even included old government exams for your use (who knows they may be so lazy as to use the old exams again this year!!)

Math Education: An Inconvenient Truth

An excellent example on how (some) academics and educators appear to know what works best. Or how to complicate even the most tried and true methods in learning.

miLearn is looking at working with students in a peer to peer environment where students lead- students manage- students dictate their learning paths. This video is an example of how the ’system’ can fail (not to mention the students taking math)

Canada at its Innovative Best!

When the world thinks of Canada and Canadians a few words and images immediately come to mind.

Hockey, cold, snow, long winters, Wayne Gretzky, trees, moose and…… beer! (Especially when compared to US beer- sorry American friends- our beer is better – but guys know that).

And now the world can think of Canada and ..innovations. Sure we brought the world the Blackberry, the phone, hockey, basketball (yes we did!), Flickr, Java (not the coffee), Poutine (Quebec is still part of us) and the Beavertail! (ever had some Canadian beaver..tail?)

Now the newest innovation showing that we are not only a creative and fun bunch (are you listening Ottawa??), but also that during those long cold winters months while watching hockey, eating beavertails texting on our blackberries and trying to get some customer service out of Bell, we have wayyy too much time on our hands!

The video below encompasses the true meaning of being Canadian, eh!
