The World Economic Forum discusses the importance of global education as well as the importance of entrepreneurship in today’s society.
“Entrepreneurship is a tremendous force that can have a big impact in growth, recovery, and societal progress by fuelling innovation, employment generation and social empowerment.”
The report entitled: “Educating the Next Wave of Entrepreneurs” aims to consolidate knowledge and good practices in entrepreneurship education from around the world and focus on three main areas that cover the life-long education of an individual. These three focus areas are: Youth (with a focus on disadvantaged youth), Higher Education (focusing on high growth entrepreneurship) and Social Inclusion (with a focus on marginalized communities).
